3 Spear Ranch is located in one of the most unique ecosystems. Surrounded by the Wind and Absaroka Mountain Ranges- our oasis is a stones throw away from some of the most vast and legendary winter-scapes known to man.
While our Little Warm Springs canyon remains relatively snow free, allowing for winter horseback rides and year round hiking access; we have partnered with Union Pass Rentals of Dubois, WY; and Scenic Safaris of Jackson, WY to provide guests with the most epic snowmobile and snowcoach tours through Togwotee the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Please inquire about dogsled tours in addition to the listed activities above. Our expert team is sure to curate a winter experience best suited for each guest or group.
Snowmobiling
Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced
Union Pass offers access to the Continental Divide Snowmobile trail system away from crowds of the Togwotee Pass area. This means smoother trails to get to those untouched, powder-filled meadows.
Ride deep into the Wyoming backcountry with expert guides on a tour customized for you. With over 600 miles of groomed trails and thousands of acres of off-trail riding to explore, booking a guided tour will ensure that you get to experience the ride you are looking for.

Winter Horseback Rides
Our expert wranglers will introduce you to our four-legged friends before saddling up for a 2-hour excursion completely customized to your level of riding ability.
Whether seeking a leisurely stroll in the sunshine or a gallop through open meadows, we are happy to bring your dreams to life. Venture through steaming warm springs bursting with green watercress and vivid red rock mesas set against the dramatic backdrop of the white-capped Absaroka
Mountain Range.

Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced
Join Scenic Safari’s for a full-day adventure in Yellowstone National Park. Ride through the heart of Yellowstone enjoying waterfalls, beautiful winter scenery and possibly even wildlife sightings along the way. You can choose to venture to the iconic geyser Old Faithful (45 miles), or to the Grand Canyon of YNP (65 miles).
Guided Snowmobile Tours start at
$525 per driver, and $855 for driver plus passenger. Additional 20% gratuity will be added.
For those who prefer to ride in the comfort of an enclosed vehicle, Scenic Safari’s offers Snow Coach Tours to Old Faithful. Sit back, relax and take in the beautiful views while you are driven through the heart of Yellowstone National Park.

Dogsledding
Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced
Join Continental Divide Dogsled Tours for your genuine dogsled adventure, and experience dog mushing the way it was meant to be.
Explore Bridger-Teton and Shoshone National Forests on a wild two hour ride through mountains, snow-capped groves, and sparkling meadows. Guests may drive the sled back to the dog yard, at the discretion of your guide.
Each guided sled accommodates up to two guests with a 350 lb. maximum. Guests can opt for separate sleds for an additional fee.
